From PC clones at computer shows to multi-tenant SaaS platforms — Kartech has been solving problems with technology for over 30 years.
1992
Jim Karnopp founded Kartech Computer Systems, building PC clones and providing
repair services while working as an independent consultant supporting small businesses.
1995
Restarted as Kartech Corporation, providing full-time consulting to Detroit Diesel
and expanding into software development, networking, and hosting solutions.
1995 – 2005
Served clients across automotive, education, healthcare, and real estate verticals.
Delivered consulting, custom development, and infrastructure solutions.
2010s
Relaunched as Kartech LLC. Jim partnered with his son Forrest, combining IT
consulting with a vision for app development and modern SaaS products.
2024 – Present
Developed the MasterPro suite — a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving multiple
industries with web and mobile applications. Continued .NET consulting with
a growing focus on AI and workflow automation.
The Team
Kartech is a father-and-son operation. Jim brings over 30 years of enterprise IT and software development experience. Forrest provides vision for product direction and handles day-to-day operations. Together, they combine deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of what small businesses actually need.
